Seamless Login

Reuters' seamless login capability (also known as gateway) offers clients the ability to log their users into our hosted pages without the user having to worry about retaining their user Id and password information.

When a call is made to the Reuters Research API, a unique transaction ID is generated. The transaction ID is passed by the Reuters Research API to the underlying service, added to the IIS logs and returned as an attribute in the response XML.
